Online Poker Report – Thanks to regulated online poker in Nevada and New Jersey, direct satellites to the biggest live tournament series in the world, the World Series of Poker, are once again available to online poker players in the United States via WSOP.com.
WSOP.com is running multiple satellite tournaments in both Nevada and New Jersey, giving players several chances each week to win a seat into both the World Series of Poker Main Event (which is rumored to have a $10,000,000 first-place guarantee this year) as well as into a $1,500 buy-in WSOP bracelet tournament of your choosing.
All told, WSOP.com is guaranteeing a minimum of 93 seats to the Main Event – and that’s just with what’s on offer now. Our understanding is that more satellites will be added as the event draws closer.
According to WSOP officials, WSOP.com is the only online site that will be offering direct buyin satellites to World Series of Poker events.
