iGaming Business – Bookmaker William Hill has announced a new promotional offer for fans using the William Hill Mobile Sports app to place wagers on the forthcoming National Football League (NFL) American football season.
The ‘1st and $10,000’ promotion will offer more than $25,000 (€19,231) in free mobile wager credits to customers over the 17 weeks of the season.
Beginning on the first full weekend of the 2013 season on September 7-8, the bookmaker will award 10 separate $1,000 free bets to active William Hill Mobile Sports customers. Five winners will be selected at random on both the Saturday and Sunday and will be notified with a pop-up message on their app upon logging on that day.
One free bet of $500 will then be drawn for each following Saturday and Sunday for the remainder of the regular NFL season, which concludes December 29.
Michael Grodsky, William Hill’s director of marketing, said: ‘1st and $10,000 is the first mobile sports book promotion that gives both new and loyal customers a chance to win prizes instantly just for logging into their William Hill Mobile Sports app on Saturdays and Sundays during the football season.’
To be eligible for the drawings, the William Hill Mobile Sports account must be a new mobile account established with a $10 minimum deposit from August 12 to September 3 or a previously active account used to make a wager from September 1, 2012 to September 3, 2013. Free bets should then be wagered before 11:59 PST on the day of winning.
