Fox 5 – A man from the United Kingdom was hit by a truck while crossing a street near the Las Vegas Strip on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Linq Lane.
Las Vegas Metro police said the 54-year-old British man was crossing Flamingo in a crosswalk when the driver of a flatbed truck turned left onto Flamingo on a green light. They said the truck driver didn’t see the man in the crosswalk and hit him. They said the pedestrian was thrown to the ground.
Police said the victim of the crash was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The crash is still being investigated, according to police.
