Amid the rapid spread of the Delta variant, increased Las Vegas vaccination sites are being pushed by the Convention and Visitors Authority. And they are working with casinos and an advertising agency to get the word out.

Clark County was recently declared to be a sustained hot spot for Coronavirus by the White House. The city was added to the list of areas where there is increased concern about the transmission rate of COVID.

Last week, Coronavirus cases across Nevada increased by 23% while Covid related hospitalizations rose 7%. This has lead the Governor to reinstate a face mask mandate for both casino workers and tourists alike.

Additionally, some jurisdictions around the country are encouraging their citizens not to travel to Las Vegas, going as far as to issue a travel warning for the city.
