Russia Blocks Gambling Websites

Russian authorities have started blocking websites operated by a host of major gambling operators, keeping to a pledge it made earlier this year. In February, the Roskomnadzor media regulator said it would agree to a request from the government for stronger control over access to unauthorised gambling sites in the country. USA Today to launch fantasy sports gaming site

iGaming Business – National US daily newspaper USA Today has unveiled plans to launch a fantasy sports gaming website that will focus on daily tournament-style games. Bulgaria adds five more websites to gambling blacklist

iGaming Business – The Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling has added five more websites to its blacklist of online gaming domains that are prohibited from operating in the country. Websites owned by Swedish operators RedBet Gaming and Cherry are amongst the latest domains to be banned from offering online betting services in Bulgaria. Cherry’s EuroSlots.com website has been blacklisted by the Bulgarian regulator, as have RedBet’s Heypoker.com and Whitebet.com domains.
