iGaming Business – The UK Gambling Commission has confirmed it has revoked the remote operating licence of social betting company Bodugi following a review of the firm. As reported by iGaming Business, the regulator had originally suspended the company’s licence after it had been made aware of a number of concerns. UK Gambling Commission suspends Bodugi’s licence
iGaming Business – The UK Gambling Commission has suspended the operating licence of social betting company Bodugi and will undertake a review of the firm after the regulator was made aware of a number of concerns. The body said that these concerns related to the ability of customers to withdraw funds from Bodugi and the lack of response to its requests to discuss such matters with the firm. The regulator said that the suspension is an “interim” and “precautionary” measure that would be kept under consideration while the review takes place. iGaming Business – Mark Lepkowski, corporate affairs manager at the National Lottery Commission for the UK state lottery, has confirmed to iGamingBusiness that the organisation’s merger with the Gambling Commission regulatory body for Great Britain will take effect on October 1. The National Lottery Commission will be dissolved under the new agreement between the two organisations, which will run as a solitary body when the merger is completed.
