Additionally, February set a new all time revenue record for Nevada, up nearly 45% from the year before. Not too shabby for a month with just 28 days in it! The outlook moving forward, however, is not quite as optimistic as it has been for the past several months when it comes to Nevada casinos. First, there are concerns about rising inflation…

Nevada casinos have come roaring back after the Coronavirus pandemic had them closed for a significant time last year. Now, all casinos have set a record in May by winning $1.23 billion. The record win came before tourist-reliant Nevada on June 1 lifted virtually all restrictions on crowds and business capacity statewide. The casino’s take has topped $1 billion for three months in a row. Even before the restrictions lifted in June, tourists were again flocking to Las Vegas casinos, and…
Nevada Casinos Legislation on Carrying Guns
Believe it or not, it seems you can open carry a gun in Nevada casinos. But if you do, you may not be welcomed. And a new bill in the state legislature could change the way these situations are handled. Right now, casino representatives must confront guests with firearms to ask them to disarm or leave. If they refuse to do either then the police are usually called. However, Senate Bill 452 would change all that. The new bill, MGM Resorts, would end confrontations between guests and resorts staff by allowing employees to call the police as a first option….
