Mississippi online gaming effort fails for third consecutive year

iGaming Business – Attempts to legalise online gambling in the US state of Mississippi have failed for the third consecutive year after a new bill died in committee, according to the USPoker.com website. Put forward by Representative Bobby Moak, the ‘Mississippi Lawful Internet Gaming Act of 2014’ would have allowed land-based casinos in the state to operator over the internet. Players located within state lines would have been able to access online versions of traditional casino games such as poker, slots, video poker and table games.
