MGM Resorts Vaccinations Required for New Hires

In a move that just about everyone saw coming, MGM Resorts vaccinations will be required in order to work for the company. Newly hired individuals who work for MGM on an hourly basis must show proof of a vaccination by August 30th. Salaried employees, whether newly hired or not, must show proof by October 15th. No details were provided about what actions may be taken if an employee does not get the vaccination or refuses to comply. MGM Resorts Makes Clorox ‘Official Disinfectant’

MGM Resorts has many partnerships in place. But one that guests may appreciate is their newest deal with Clorox to be their exclusive provider for disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer. In a statement made via their Twitter account, MGM says that their guests health and safety remain a top priority. Therefore, they made Clorox the “Official Guest Disinfectant and Hand Sanitizer Brand of MGM Resorts.” A news release stated that wipes and hand sanitizer would be made available in guest areas such as the casino floor, as well as restaurants and other shared spaces. BetMGM Growing into Sports Betting Giant

Last year, BetMGM began by operating in just three states. And despite the challenges of a pandemic (or perhaps helped by the pandemic keeping people home) they had grown to operating in ten states. The money was better than expected, too. Bringing in over $178 million in net revenue, significantly beating their target of $150 million. Buffalo Wild Wings partners with MGM Resorts International and its sports betting venture, Roar Digital, for a multi-year partnership – a first-of-its-kind alignment between a national sports bar and a gaming leader. In accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, the partnership will deliver sports gaming experiences at a national scale inside Buffalo Wild Wings through MGM’s digital gaming platform, BetMGM. Detroit Lions Partner with MGM Resorts

Gaming and hospitality firm MGM Resorts International has announced that its MGM Grand Detroit subsidiary has entered into a long-term agreement with NFL American football team the Detroit Lions. Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, the two parties will work together to build a luxurious space at the team’s Ford Field home stadium.
