Friends Experience Las Vegas is Coming

It’s been a rumor for a long time, but the Friends Experience Las Vegas is a real thing. I mean, we know that it’s real because it toured the country. But now there are plans to make the attraction a permanent part of Las Vegas… or as permanent as anything can be in Sin City. Yes, it’s being called “The One in Vegas“, and when it eventually opens it will offer fans of the beloved TV show an immersive, interactive journey into the show. Located at MGM Grand, this unique attraction will bring iconic moments to life, allowing fans to…

Renovation Update from the MGM Grand

Guests will soon have more reasons to love the MGM Grand. The project will eventually redo more than 4,000 rooms. Another part of the remodel is the addition of 110 new suites, made possible by the transforming of about 350 standard rooms on the top floors, offering guests more spacious accommodations. Construction on those units began late last year and is expected to…

MGM Grand to be Sold by End of the Year

The company agreed this month to sell…

The MGM Grand hotel and casino, in an exclusive statement issued to Gambling 911 on Thursday, said a recent incident where a hotel guest reportedly found a bed bug in her room was not the fault of the MGM but of a previous guest who brought the insect in. “We take great pride in both our amazing resort and our world-class customer service at MGM Grand Las Vegas,” said Gordon Absher, Vice-President of Corporate Communications for the hotel. “The case generating so much recent social media activity was limited to one guest and one guest room… This is therefore an…

Skill Gaming Meets Gambling at MGM Grand in Las Vegas

Apparently, skill gaming is the border dividing casino gambling and video games lies somewhere between a nightclub and a sports book — at least that’s where Hakkasan Group will open a space named Level Up in MGM Grand later this month. Level Up — which Hakkasan describes as a social lounge — will sit between Hakkasan and the sports book and will be roughly divided into two areas. One is a new arena with stadium seating where 40 gamblers at a time can play social versions of table games, such as blackjack, poker, keno and roulette. At craps, roulette or…
