MGM Resorts has announced that Park MGM Las Vegas will open their doors on September 30, completing the reopening of all of its properties around the world following closures earlier this year amid the Covid-19 crisis. Linq Hotel Reopens on Vegas Strip

The latest property in the Caesars Entertainment family has reopened it’s rooms to guests again. The Linq Hotel starts welcoming people back today… although the casino floor has been open since June 12th. Amenities within the complex will have differing hours of operation and some attractions have modified their hours. While The Linq Hotel’s gaming floor is open around the clock, the O’Sheas Casino will only be open Friday through Sunday, noon to midnight and the bar is closed. Nevada Regulators Seek Fines for Face Mask Issues

The Nevada Gaming Control Board recently investigated complaints against casinos over health and safety concerns, specifically in regard to face mask issues. Now, they have released the specific violations and the names and properties. The complaints in each case allege that during repeat visits held several days apart, state inspectors saw employees and patrons without face coverings or wearing them improperly. Records showed that complaints were filed since last Friday against C.O.D. Casino in Minden. The Hotel Nevada & Gambling Hall in Ely was also caught violating state mandates. Nevada Investigates Health and Safety Issues

Amid a huge spike in COVID-19 cases, the Nevada Gaming Control Board launched investigations into more than 150 alleged health and safety issues related to Coronavirus. Afterward, three formal complaints were filed. The complaints included allegations that patrons did not wear face coverings or wore them improperly while playing slot machines. Nevada’s casinos were allowed to reopen June 4th after over two months of closure to help contain the spread of the the virus. Aria and Mandalay Bay Violations of Face Mask Order

Las Vegas Strip casinos Aria and Mandalay Bay have both been found to have violations of the state face mask order, according to Clark County officials. Only 38 businesses were found in violation of the mask order and authorities issued notices meant to educate the staff on how to properly follow the directive. The businesses that were put on notice for face-covering violations included Aria Resort and Casino, where customers were seen without masks and not social distancing, KSNV reports. Tropicana Las Vegas Sets September Reopen Date

While many casinos on The Strip are welcoming guests back, the Tropicana Las Vegas will not open it’s doors until late summer. Parent company Penn National Gaming announced that the casino is officially set to reopen September 1st at 10am. Like with other Nevada casinos, the crowd on the gaming floor will be restricted to 50 percent of the capacity, as determined by building and fire officials. Visitors will see other health and safety precautions in place, too. Among these are the required wearing of face masks, except when eating meals or consuming beverages.
