Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has further strengthened its presence in the NFL American football league by securing sponsorship deals with 12 more teams in the competition. The Minnesota Vikings is so far the only franchise to have confirmed itself as one of the 12 teams to be covered by the deal, with the identity of other teams yet to be revealed. In a statement, the Vikings said the deals will enable DraftKings to offer exclusive fantasy games and money-can’t buy experiences to NFL fans. US fantasy sports company FanDuel has recruited 40 developers who previously worked for Zynga as part of a move to strengthen its operations in the country. FanDuel’s new offices in Orlando have been opened to support its established bases in New York and Los Angeles, as well as in the Scottish cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. As part of this US expansion strategy, the company has brought in a team of 40 developers who made up the Zynga Sports 365 division of social gaming outfit.
