DraftKings Las Vegas Office Opens

As part of their overall plan to grow their American presence, a DraftKings Las Vegas office has opened. The fantasy and sports betting operator Las Vegas facility will host about 300 employees, including customer support, fraud, casino, sports book traders, human resource and IT personnel. The move comes after DraftKings last month agreed a deal to be acquired by a special purpose acquisition company alongside betting and gaming technology provider SBTech. A Caesars DraftKings online gambling agreement has been reached which will give the fantasy sports provider access to the markets in several states. The deal lets DraftKings offer its online gambling products in “certain states” in which Caesars operates, but the companies did not specify which ones. DraftKings will promote Caesars Entertainment as its official casino-resort partner in the states where the companies collaborate, and Caesars Entertainment will receive equity in DraftKings. DraftKings Betting Shop to Open in Mississippi

The first DraftKings betting shop will open in Mississippi this week. DraftKings at Scarlet Pearl Sportsbook will debut at the D’Iberville-located casino on Friday following the receipt of a licence from the Mississippi Gaming Commission. The 300-room Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort has 1,170 slots, including 80 video poker machines, and 37 table games. Sports betting in Mississippi launched in August but is currently only allowed at licensed venues, with mobile and online wagering not permissible off the grounds.
