The Federal Court in the Australian state of Victoria has dismissed a case brought by a former gambling addict against slot machine maker Aristocrat Technologies Australia and Australian casino operator Crown Resorts. Formed in 2004 by Betfair and Crown, Betfair Australia offers various services to players in the Australasia region. iGaming Business – Casino operator Crown Resorts is set to increase its stake in online betting exchange Betfair’s Australian operations from 50% to 100%, according to Fairfax Media.
