Amaya renews Greentube Alderney licensing deal
iGaming Business – Gambling industry entertainment provider Amaya Gaming Group has renewed its licensing deal with Greentube Alderney, part of global gaming group Novomatic. Alderney regulator and Fifa subsidiary sign Memorandum of Understanding
iGaming Business – The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) regulatory body has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Early Warning System, a subsidiary of the Fifa international football governing body. The agreement has been activated ahead of this summer’s 2014 Fifa World Cup national team tournament. The MoU is based on an ongoing close co-operation for the early detection of suspicious activities in sport betting, which can serve as an indicator for match-fixing. Gambling Commission Winter Olympics crackdown
BBC – Alderney’s Gambling Commission has brokered a deal to exchange suspicious gambling patterns with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) comes ahead of the Winter Olympics. The deal is part an effort to crack down on illegal gambling. An IOC spokesman said the partnership “protects major competitions from any form of manipulation, particularly those linked to betting”. The Commission’s executive director André Wilsenach said: “This MoU enables the IOC and the Commission rapidly communicate any concerns relating to the integrity of betting on Olympic events.”
Genting Alderney Goes Live with Online Sports Book
White label solutions provider Genting Alderney, a subsidiary of Genting International, has partnered sports betting platform provider FSB Technology to launch a mobile and online sports book.
