Card Player – SHFL entertainment, Inc. (formerly Shuffle Master), which was acquired by Bally Technologies this summer, announced Thursday that it has reached an agreement with Sweden-based NYX Interactive AB to have SHFL’s web gaming products integrated onto the latter’s “Open Gaming System.” The deal pertains to real-money gambling in regulated online markets.
The agreement will enable SHFL to offer its table games such as Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Casino War, and Fortune Pai Gow Poker to NYX’s online casino partners.
“We are confident that offering our renowned proprietary table games on NYX’s platform is an excellent opportunity for SHFL to expand its reach,” Gavin Isaacs, Chief Executive Officer for SHFL, said in a statement. “This agreement will allow us access to new customers, further expanding our B2B online portfolio of casinos served.”
SHFL is a Nevada online poker licensee and has existing relationships with many brick-and-mortar properties. The firm is based out of Las Vegas.
“SHFL has years of experience in gaming and a rich portfolio of specialty table game content for both desktop and mobile devices,” David Flynn, CEO for NYX, said in a statement. “We believe that SHFL’s games will perfectly complement the existing games within [our] portfolio and I’m confident they will resonate well with our customers.”
NYX is currently working on gaming systems for World Lottery Association members.
