Parx Casino plans to begin offering their Pennsylvania online casino starting July 15, the first day the Gaming Control Board will allows. The announcement came in the form of an elaborate online advertisement with an official launch time for 2 p.m. local on that Monday. They already launched their online sportsbook on June 24 as a standalone product.
Located just outside of Philadelphia, Parx is the dominant retail casino operation in the state — the largest facility with the highest annual revenue. Wagering with Parx online casino will require the use of geolocation tools to confirm that customers are physically located in Pennsylvania.
Parx may eventually combine all online gambling into a unified app, but each vertical will use its own platform for the time being. Parx is also among the smaller group of casinos that holds a PA online poker permit. For now, however, it does not appear that poker will be part of the July 15 launch.
It remains unclear which competing Pennsylvania online casino sites may be ready to go alongside Parx on July 15.
