Online gambling software developer Net Entertainment AB has signed a license agreement that will see its casino games made available to Italian operator Lottomatica Scommesse Srl via the Lottomatica.it and Totosi.it domains.
Stockholm-based Net Entertainment stated that the deal will see it deliver ‘a wide range of casino games’ to Lottomatica for use in its regulated Italian online businesses.
Lottomatica Scommesse is a subsidiary of GTECH SpA and a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA). Widely considered to be a market leader in the Italian gaming industry and one of the largest lottery operators in the world, the company has business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations.
“Net Entertainment was a first mover to supply online casino games to the regulated Italian online gaming market in 2011,” said Bjorn Krantz, Managing Director for Net Entertainment Malta Limited.
