iGaming Business – Server-based gaming specialist Inspired Gaming as expanded its virtual sports service into Colombia after agreeing a deal with GENTEC, part of the Betancur Group.
Colombian law does not currently allow for virtual sports betting in the country, but an expected change in regulation later this year will enable Inspired to enter the market.
Inspired will provide GENTEC with its range of virtual sports, as well as its bet management system and EPOS solution BetBOX via local distributor Algazara.
GENTEC customers will be able to bet on virtual sports including football, horseracing, tennis and motor racing.
BetBOX enables any type of gaming operator to broadcast a new virtual sports event every three minutes and take bets over-the-counter of via terminals.
Players can also view all upcoming events and odds, as well as compile their bets, via Inspired’s new BetBuilder kiosks.
The products are due to go live before November and will eventually be rolled out to more than 150 GENTEC venues across Colombia.
