Indiana mobile sports betting platforms will use geofencing technology to make sure bettors are in the state when placing bets. Bettors will need to provide personal identifying information to create an account.
The Indiana Gaming Commission authorized a Chicago-based Rush Street Gaming to conduct mobile sports betting beginning October 3. The firm has “substantially demonstrated” that its mobile sports wagering operation meets Indiana’s requirements, gaming officials said Wednesday, as reported by IndyStar.
Bettors must be 21 years or older to participate, and they will need to provide information such as social security, birth date, and credit card information to create an account.
