iGaming Business – Sportsbook platform provider FSB Technology has teamed up with the Guardian newspaper to launch a new online sportsbook service, GoWager.com.
The new service, which will be managed and run by FSB Tech, offers pre-match and in-play markets on a range of sports such as football and horse racing.
Under the partnership, FSB Tech will provide various technology solutions including a platform, CRM engine, pricing and trading team.
GoWager.com is now live and can be accessed via the Guardian’s website and its sports section.
David McDowell, co-founder and chief executive officer of FSB Tech, told iGaming Business: “The sportsbook was purposefully designed to fit in with the Guardian’s brand guidelines and to be as unobtrusive as possible.
“We designed it with their readers in mind and believe it fits perfectly around their existing up to the second commentary on various matches and overall content.”
FSB Tech is no stranger to the online newspaper market, having run the fantasy football league platform of free newspaper Metro since 2011.
McDowell said that the firm now hopes to strike partnerships other companies for similar projects.
“We are talking to a number of other prospective clients including other media companies and casino, poker and sportsbook operators,” he said.
