America is slowly emerging from lock-down, and that could be great news for Vegas and the state of Nevada. The Center for Disease Control has eased some of their travel restrictions, and things are looking better for vacation destinations… such as Sin City.
Having warned citizens not to travel unless necessary, a new directive from the CDC allows those who are vaccinated to travel within the United States, but warned people that they still need to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
This is really fantastic news for vacation cities like Las Vegas… even as we collectively hold our breath that a third wave of Coronavirus doesn’t pop up. Or worse, a third wave with a mutated strain.
Lori Nelson-Kraft, who is the Senior VP of Communications at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, said “We continue to follow the guidance by CDC and our local health experts at the Southern Nevada Health District… We remain committed to reducing the spread of the virus and ensuring that travel to and in and around Las Vegas remains a safe experience…”
