Card Player – The Golden Nugget has partnered with Amaya Gaming Group Inc. for its real-money online poker offerings in the United States, which includes New Jersey and Nevada.
Amaya will provide the content and help run the back-end of goldennuggetpoker.com and goldennuggetcasino.com, which will serve as the brands.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
Golden Nugget operates four Golden Nugget Hotels and Casinos between Nevada, New Jersey and Mississippi. Its fifth location was recently announced for a site in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Nevada already has online poker underway, while New Jersey will launch next month.
Golden just recently received a license in New Jersey. It already had one in Nevada.
“We intend to be a preferred early stage operator of real money online gaming as regulation progresses in the United States, initially in New Jersey and Nevada. To thrive in this market, we need to deliver a best-in-class online and mobile player experience,” Thomas Winter, Vice President Online Gaming of Landry’s, Inc., which operates Golden Nugget, said in a statement.
