Poker News – The Full Tilt Poker Montreal Festival kicks off on Saturday at the popular Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, just 20 minutes from downtown Montreal. The 17-event festival is headlined by a C$1,000 buy-in, C$1 Million Guarantee Main Event, starting on Friday Sept. 27, and includes a “win the button” tournament, a deepstack turbo, a “PLO 3-lives” tournament, and a big ante tournament.
There are still numerous packages available for the Main Event on the Full Tilt client. If you can’t afford to play in these low-stakes satellites, then you can also earn your seat in the Main Event via freeroll tournaments. Thee freerolls run from Monday through Saturday at 19:00 EDT and 22:00 EDT, with the top 50 players in each freeroll winning a spot in the weekly Montreal Festival Freeroll Final on Sunday at 19:00 EDT. The winner of each weekly final will receive a C$1,000 + C$100 Main Event seat.
