Fontainebleau Las Vegas Receives Honor

One of the new kids on the block (or the Strip) is Fontainebleau Las Vegas. But despite all the contract issues, changes of ownership, and even a pandemic the building which was the bane of the city for years as an abandoned eyesore is now coming into its own. Not only as one of the best resorts in town, but as one of the “World’s Greatest Places 2024”.

The latest luxury resort and casino to grace Las Vegas Boulevard has reached a landmark achievement by securing a spot on the TIME Magazine list of  “World’s Greatest Places” list for this year. This prestigious recognition comes just eight months after the resort’s grand opening, establishing Fontainebleau as a premier destination for luxury not just in Nevada, but globally.

“This honor reflects the exceptional dedication of our incredible members and Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ unwavering commitment to luxury, sophistication, and outstanding service,” says Maurice Wooden, President of Fontainebleau Las Vegas. “TIME’s ‘World’s Greatest Places’ list celebrates the most exceptional destinations worldwide, and we are truly honored to be included.”

The list features 100 extraordinary destinations to visit and stay. It was curated through nominations from TIME’s global correspondents and contributors, along with an extensive application process, highlighting locations that offer innovative and exciting experiences.

Since its opening on December 13, 2023, Fontainebleau Las Vegas has earned acclaim from various prestigious publications, including Esquire’s The 41 Best New Hotels in North America and Europe 2024, Conde Nast Traveler’s The Best New Hotels in the United States: 2024 Hot List, and Travel & Leisure’s The 100 Best New Hotels of the Year.
