This ain’t some fancy James Bond heist, but a Las Vegas maid at the Vdara was able to steal over $1 million in jewelry from a hotel guest. Now, according to court records, she is facing charges of grand larceny, residential burglary, and conspiracy to commit burglary. Was there nothing else to do in Sin City that night? There has been another month of record gaming revenues for Nevada. This time, the Las Vegas Strip is the force behind the state reaching and exceeding the $1 billion mark. Statistics for April were just released from the by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and they make it the 26th month in a row they have gone over the billion dollar mark.
