Nevada Gaming Revenue Hits $1.2 Billion in August

Nevada gaming revenue kept up their winning ways in August, extending their winning streak to an amazing 30th consecutive month of generating over a billion dollars. Casinos raked in right at $1.2 billion in revenue, as reported by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. This figure remains largely consistent compared to August of the previous year, albeit a slight decrease from the record-breaking Nevada gaming revenue of $1.4 billion achieved in July. Revenue from the Strip was hit by a decrease of 3.4% in slots winnings, but this was offset somewhat by a gain of over 7% in table game money….
