Have you played Atari gambling today? The interactive entertainment publisher and producer is set to enter the real-money gambling market under a new strategic partnership with software company Pariplay.
The two companies will work together to launch Atari’s video game brands across real-money gambling formats including iLottery, social, online and mobile.
Due to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, the Atari real-money gambling website will feature games from the company’s robust portfolio such as Asteroids, Pong, Tempest and Missile Command.
Pariplay will also distribute the Atari gambling branded games throughout its network to enable operators to run the games on their websites.
“Pariplay’s expertise in the real money gambling category coupled with their solid back-end architecture makes them an ideal partner,” Atari’s chief executive officer Fred Chesnais said.
“This initiative, coupled with our recent FlowPlay social casino announcement, supports our broader vision to expand Atari’s legacy properties outside of the gaming field.”
Gili Lisani, chief executive officer of Pariplay, added: “Atari was a pioneer in the interactive entertainment space, having built tremendous brand equity through their rich suite of beloved brands.
“We are proud to steward their entry into the evolving iGaming category where players can engage with their properties in exciting new ways.”
Last year, Pariplay was taken over by video games publisher Majesco Entertainment Company and, along with online game developer Orid, is now part of a new venture that focuses on online casino games, as reported by iGaming business.
