On our last program, we spoke about all the renovation work going on at Vegas hotels plus four brand new resorts that are being planned right now. This week we’re discussing several amazing Las Vegas attractions opening in 2025 plus something from the future arriving in Vegas very soon. Now, these attractions are not just ideas or proposals. They are actually being built as we speak. And the first one is about so much more than a puppy. It’s the John Wick Experience at Area 15.
Step through the doors of the Las Vegas Continental in this immersive adventure. where your bets have real consequences. The hotel manager awaits your arrival for an action packed, inter active mission. And when you’re done, you can unwind with a drink at the Continental Bar. The John Wick Experience is set to open February 28th.
Once you’re done, you can unwind at the new BLVD Las Vegas, a 400, 000 square foot, all day destination located in the center of the Strip near Aria. There are specialty retail outlets like Adidas, JD Sports, and H&M, plus a three story In N Out Burger, and 120 thousand square feet of rooftop viewing with food and beverage services. BLVD will begin opening in March with new shops and restaurants arriving all the way into 2026.
Of course, if living the life of an assassin and a three story burger joint don’t quite do it for you, then maybe you could try the next of our Las Vegas attractions and test your skills as an F1 driver at the Grand Prix Plaza. This 39 acre adventure is located in the actual Las Vegas Grand Prix pit building with over 80 race simulators and interactive exhibits. But the big attraction is when you get to drive an F1 inspired cart on part of the actual race circuit, complete with engine sounds and an LED steering wheel. Afterwards, there’s food, an outdoor terrace, a champagne bar, forum shops, and more! And the F1 Arcade. Grand Prix Plaza will open this spring.
Next, if driving an F1 race course isn’t scary enough, check out Universal Horror Unleashed at Area 15. This year round scare complex has four haunted houses based on Universal Monsters, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Exorcist, and the original Scarecrow the Reaping. In between adventures, you can also expect live entertainment, seasonal events, and one of a kind merchandise. Universal Horror Unleashed is scheduled to open August 17th.
Moving right along, did I ever tell you about the time I went backpacking across Western Europe? Well, with that said we arrive at the Friends Experience at MGM Grand. Relive your favorite moments from the TV show as you explore the iconic sets, memorabilia, replica props, and costumes. You can even visit the lobby of Ross and Rachel’s Vegas Wedding Chapel. Plus, get exclusive behind the scenes content. Dubbed, The One in Vegas. This will be one of the most popular of the new Las Vegas attractions, and is currently scheduled to open June 17th.
And finally this week, when we started this video, I promised you something from From the future that’s expected to arrive in Las Vegas this year. So, get ready for self driving taxis. Zoox is a company that provides a driver-less cab service, and they are currently testing their vehicles on the streets of San Francisco. Unlike similar vehicles, Zoox cabs are purpose built and don’t even have a steering wheel. The Amazon owned company says that their robo-taxis should be prowling the strip before the end of 2025.
